Brothers 2jz was getting a compression test, but we noticed cylinder 5 only had one out of the two bolts in that hold the coil pack.. We thought the previous owner must of lost it or whatever(we just bought it..and meanwhile it was wedged between the spark plug and the cylinder head). We remove the plug (bolt goes in unsuspectingly) and do the test. 165 psi across the board. Put everything back together (same bolt still missing) and fire it up.....couple awful noises later and it was 110psi and the head came off. Its a feeling I hope no one ever feels. I now cover absolutely everything and always check around the plugs for any dirt, debris etc before I remove them.
